The purpose of HireUP! is to begin to give local entrepreneurs the tools and skills they need in order to navigate through the basic elements of hiring. We will provide attendees with an understanding of what their legal requirements are, and how to balance those with their tight budgets. Attendees will walk away with specific steps they can take to ensure a successful experience as a first time employer, whether employing staff or contract employees.

Confidence in life and business comes with knowing who you are and how you can connect meaningfully with others. This breakout session will teach you four basic personality styles, help you identify your own strengths, and provide you with specific strategies for communicating more effectively with key stakeholders. Participants will leave with a clearer sense of the value that they bring to their businesses and how they can build quick rapport with employees, customers, and the people who matter most.
