On Friday, April 12, 2013, Culver Military Academy hosted Harmony Insights for a 3-hour DiSC workshop focused on identifying strengths and enhancing communication. Participants began by first learning about their own natural behaviors and preferred environments before getting a sense of how other people are uniquely motivated. Individual 20-page customized reports facilitated the process of looking within to recognize and appreciate what each participant brought to the table in terms of strengths and potential limitations. Fun, interactive exercises encouraged team building and group learning. By the end of the morning’s engagement, everyone in the room had developed a keen understanding of how adapting to meet the needs of a given person or situation promotes strong leadership and greater personal effectiveness.
